Keith King a BMX biker stuntman has been awarded $8.8m after a North Carolina judge rules his wife’s lover, Francisco Huizar III wrecking their marriage.
BMX biker stuntman, Keith King, 48, was on Thursday awarded $8.8 million by a North Carolina judge after suing his former wife’s lover for wrecking their marriage.
The payout follows Francisco Huizar III maintaining an 8 month fling with the ‘afflicted’ husband’s wife, Danielle King, 33 over the course of 18 months and the husband using North Carolina’s laws that allows spouses to pursue ‘homewreckers’ for damages.
According to the Durham Herald-Sun, the law stipulates married individuals can sue a person for ‘criminal conversation’ if they have sex with their spouse and destroy the ‘genuine love and affection’ in a marriage.
The $8.8 million payout is comprised of $2.2million in compensatory damages, as well as triple that in punitive damages.
Attorney Joanne Foil said the extramarital affair and an alleged assault by Huizar cost King’s company, BMX Stunt Shows, revenue and an employee, since Danielle King worked for the company.
The payout comes despite, Huizar, who lives in San Antonio, Texas earning $84,000 a year as a marketing tour manager.
The award was made even though Huizar’s lawyer, Cheri Patrick claiming Danielle King being in the grips of a controlling spouse and what was described to be the couple’s already-troubled six year marriage crumbling when he met her.
King is said to have controlled his wife’s access to money, made her watch adult films, insisted she keep her hair blonde and that she wear bikinis as well as high heels.

Danielle King claims romantically pursuing Francisco Huizar and that marriage to Keith King was an unhappy one:
When called to testify, Danielle King claimed that she was the one who romantically pursued Huizar and said her marriage to Keith was an unhappy one from the outset.
During trial deliberations, Durham Superior Court Justice, Superior Court Judge Orlando Hudson heard how Huizar and Danielle King meeting at a New York BMX show in August 2015, and beginning their affair after Keith King left her behind to attend a Colorado show.
Soon after, Huizar, rented a room closer to the Kings’ home in Durham, NC., where he met Danielle at least nine times over the following three months. Keith King happened upon the affair in August 2015 after checking his wife’s phone bill, and asking Huizar to leave his wife alone. Instead, Huizar tagged along to a spa break King gave to his wife as a birthday gift the following February.
Told King’s attorney Joanne Foil, ‘Guess who the heck tagged along? Mr. Huizar.’
‘He just conveniently popped up. There is no way that this marriage could have humanly been saved with the level of this man’s involvement.’
The lover is alleged to have hired a property close to where the Kings were enjoying a beach vacation together in spring 2016. Danielle King almost left Keith King in April 2016, but decided to give the marriage another go. They eventually split in January 2017, with Huizar helping his lover rent an apartment.
Huizar has responded he plans to appeal the verdict.
