David Gammon a Pennsylvania father is indicted on manslaughter and child endangerment charged after passing out drunk while his 2 year old son drowned.

David Gammon a Pennsylvania father was on Tuesday charged with involuntary manslaughter and two counts of child endangerment after the man’s two year old son drowned.

Anakin Gammon’s drowning came after the child’s father was found passed out drunk on the lawn, September 20.

WFMJ reported the father telling cops he’d beensipping’ on a Four Loko when he took the toddler and his 5-year-old brother outside in September. The father stressed having put away the drink back in the refrigerator when he took his children outside.

While outside, Gammon became unconscious with the children wandering away from their Sharon home.

David Gammon found unconscious on the lawn unable to comprehend his sons had disappeared.

A criminal complaint cited a neighbor who said he found Gammon sleeping on the lawn of his backyard after one of Gammon’s children had come over to his home saying he couldn’t wake his father and unable to find his siblings.

The neighbor told of Gammon reeking of alcohol and having difficulty understanding that his sons had disappeared, WKBN reported.

The two boys were reported missing with police finding the 5-year-old brother, who has special needs, a few blocks from Gammon’s home.

Gammon’s youngest son was discovered unresponsive in a backyard swimming pool about nine blocks away in Masury, Ohio.

Emergency responders attempted to revive the 2-year-old, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The boy’s death was ruled a drowning.

Authorities filed charges against Gammon after investigating the death.

‘There is probable cause that David Gammon was reckless in consuming enough alcohol, while caring for his children, that he lost consciousness allowing them to wander from the property’ police said in the complaint.
