Unemployed Chinese man gets breasts implants cause he thought women had better career prospects: How a surgical procedure led to family dissent and financial burden.
An unemployed Chinese man rom Zhuzhou City, in China’s Hunan province has had a breast implant costing over 39 000 Yuan ($5846 USD)because he thought women had better career prospects.
Unfortunately for the 30 year old man, he was forced to have the implants removed months later after the procedure led to tensions in the family.
The initial move to get a breast job reports the dailymail came after the man, surnamed Ho, became increasingly irritated at his dim job prospects, believing acquiring breasts would make him more employable along with improving job prospects.
Since removing the breasts, the unemployed man said that he is ‘still recovering’ from surgery.
Speaking to Chinese outlet, hunandushi.net, the unemployed worker conceded that the incident had caused him a lot of trouble.
The man said he has limited work experience and his job search had not been going well over the years.
He decided to change his appearance in the hope of finding a job.
Unfortunately the unemployed worker hadn’t anticipated the friction such a move would cause at the family home.
Upon discovering her son had borrowed over 39,000 Yuan ($5846) for the surgery, the man’s mother is said to have become outraged and irritated with her son.
Told the mother in a video report: ‘I was so scared, how can it be like that? How can a man with such big boobs face others?’
Added the mother: ‘I can’t tell you how many times I have cried in my room.’
According to the mother, Ho had a condition with his hearing after getting a concussion at the age of three. The incident led to her son having problems communicating with others.
His mother blamed the hospital for conducting the surgery without keeping the family informed.
Ho did not tell his family about the surgery at Ruilan Medical Cosmetic Hospital and borrowed cash for the procedure.
Told the son: ‘I did not have enough money for the surgery, so I consulted the hospital.
‘They told me I could pay for the surgery with a loan. They asked me to hand in my mobile phone and ID card.’
Ho claims that he agreed to have the surgery but denied that he had agreed to taking out a loan for the procedure.
He says that he has received calls from the lender every day, which he acknowledges him almost having a nervous breakdown.
A spokesperson from the Ruilan Medical Cosmetic Hospital told reporters: ‘He is over 18 years old. He has signed the documents. He should be responsible for his actions.’
Li visited the hospital on October 2 for negotiations.
The hospital eventually agreed to waive their fees and offer compensation of 3000 Yuan ($449 USD), reported Hunan Xiaoxiang Herald.
Not necessarily understood is if the unemployed worker has agreed to pay the reduced fee….
