Romeo Beckham, ten year old son of famous parents David and Victoria Beckham it seems is following in the family business of being an omnipresent media
whore presence with the debut of his first modeling campaign, with none other than English fashion label Burberry.
Where as others have struggled to get their foot hold in the industry, hunky Romeo just whispered his parent’s lineage to Burberry’s chief creative director, Christopher Bailey who then had the brilliant idea of using the young lad for the label’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 campaign.
And how did Bailey come to find working with the soon to be everywhere starlet?
‘A joy to work with,’ opined the seasoned fashion head.
Indeed, we should think so Mr Bailey!
Then there was this comment via the web that caught my attention as well:
I have no particular view on how the Beckhams choose to exploit their son, but that photograph does look very odd. Almost as if Romeo’s head has been badly Photoshopped onto some other Burberry clad body. Or maybe his head really is as vertically out of alignment with his body as it appears. In this case enquiring minds don’t want to know, it’s too boring to worry about!
