Long, elegantly embroidered works of art, Kati Stern of Venexiana did it again. A company whose signature is the extraordinarily embellished cocktail dresses, evening and ball gowns, Kati Stern’s adeptness only seems to get more acute. A plethora of fresh looks, significantly different from her predominantly ‘black and white,’ form fitted leather and wool outfits, made for this fall 2011, signify the designer’s resilience. Always feminine, fun and luxurious—Stern masters the craft of dressing with tasteful class, grace:  elegance.

Gold and yellow characterized the bulk of the long, draping gown, which are made from expensive Italian silks, organza, satin and sequins metals or chiffon. One shouldered and bejeweled aesthetic straps notably recur, as do the tendency for fabrics to drag along the floor. Models tripping over excess fabrics are just as commonplace as the graceful Swaroski crystal brocaded fabrics or the glimmering straps. Crossing the back, neck or shoulder, these nonfunctional, aesthetic attaches add a stunning flare.
