To the mellifluous sound of the night’s chanteuse, visual artists shared their work with tutu-ed nymphs (we peeked at the mixed-media photographs of Sergio himself) , crafty jewelers raised their glass with singers, models and our favorite scapegoats – what we now love to call reality stars. (I believe a few in our mists gave a smirky toast to Snooki, Our dear Lady of the Drunken Behavior)… We swelled in unison to the wicked rythms of DJ Yoshi before everyone scurried to the party’s resident psychic, a dainty demoiselle from Satori Nation from whom each reveler hoped to reap his very own brand of “Enlightment Now!”…
All in all, a dazzling evening of discovery under the stars – we sipped, we met, we conquered – a bit of what the city that never sleeps is all about, and a bit of fresh air before the onslaught begins… On your marks, my little ones, see you tomorrow.
