In the space of a few years Peter Pilotto, designed by Pilotto and his partner Christopher De Vos, has grown from being relatively unknown into one of fashion weeks must-see shows. Known for their superb cutting and draping skills the duo were keen to expand their repertoire by throwing some daywear and tailoring into the mix.
In keeping with their own aesthetic and steering well clear of restricting seasonal trends Pilotto worked vibrant orange tones with earthy browns, grey, silver and black. Forms twisted and draped around the body, the dresses in particular clung and draped in all the right places and were enhanced by their unique blend of digital prints. Elsewhere the collection comprised of tweed jackets, high-waisted pants and patchworked separates intended to flatter regardless of size and age.
