Life is isn’t looking (literally) too good for Marilyn Leisz pursuant to a plastic surgery operation (eyelid surgery) that has left her unable to fully close her eyes. The doctor for their part argues the disclaimer that Ms Leisz was told that a risk existed that she would never fully be able to close her eyelids after surgery- but that hasn’t stopped Marilyn Leisz with pursuing her lawsuit.
jezebel: Another doctor testified on Leisz’s behalf, saying she wasn’t a good candidate for the surgery because after many other procedures, “there’s so little skin left.” Leisz told CBS News that she uses gel at night an a vaporizer and is constantly afraid of injuring her eyes. “All the favorite things I used to, like tennis, racquetball, swimming, horseback riding, bike riding, skeet shooting, gardening, I can’t do those things,” Leisz said. A jury is currently deliberating the case.
Which makes us wonder, on some level Ms Leisz must have had some innate understanding that there was only so much skin left on her eyelid to play with, and never mind the surgeon who should have never operated on her because of the risks even he knew of, but then again- when a woman hung up on her looks and a wad of money is knocking on your door, conscience and good decision literally go out the window.
