Joseline Eichelberger an 11 month old, Calverton Park, Missouri, baby girl dies after being left in hot car for 15-16 hours. No arrests yet to be made.
An 11-month-old girl in Missouri was found dead Sunday after being left in a hot car for at least 15 hours.
Joseline Eichelberger was declared dead when authorities responded to her about 4:30 p.m. in a parked car in Calverton Park, according to KMOV.
Cops determined the infant being left inside the car for between 15 to 16 hours.
Two persons of interest are being questioned, though cops have made no arrests.
The infant’s parents are an emotional wreck, a family friend told KMOV.
‘You have two young parents. One telling one to get the child and other telling the other… you know mistakes are made,’ said Barbara Beckett. ‘It’s a nightmare, they are traumatized. They can’t stop crying.’
Told Joseline’s cousin, Lilly Bellfied, ‘I feel like a piece of my heart is gone because she was a part of me.’
Calverton Park Public Information Officer Chris Robertson said temperatures reached up to 79 degrees on June 2nd, the day Joseline was left in the car unattended.
