John Samuel Hise is charged with animal cruelty after killing the family dog as revenge after finding out his wife was having an affair with his brother.

John Samuel Hise an Oklahoma husband has been charged with animal cruelty after killing the family dog after discovering his estranged wife was having an affair with his brother.

A report via NBC 4 cited police comments of the husband originally trying to cover up the crime by saying he had to put the dog down because it was sick.

Authorities soon discovered otherwise when photos of the deceased canine began making the rounds on Facebook.

Cops said after murdering the pet, Hise shared photos of the blood-soaked canine (naturally ….) with a message taunting his wife: ‘What or who is next I (sic) on a role.’

Told, Perry Police Chief Brian Thomas, ‘We looked at the pictures and … brought him in for questioning’.

‘Perry Police Department has been working vigorously investigating a Facebook post that went viral over the weekend depicting what appears to be the brutal death of a dog,’ authorities said in a post.

That’s when Hise confessed and admitted he was upset after finding out his wife was cheating on him with his brother, leading him (naturally) to killing the dog as revenge.

‘He knew if he would hurt the dog, he hurt his wife or ex-wife or so be it,’ neighbor Pam Keith told the outlet. ‘Well, then he attacked the dog, and that’s an easy way out. That’s a sick, easy way out.’

Authorities said they’re having a hard time recovering the dog’s body because Hise threw it in a creek.

Come Wednesday our collective hero was booked on charges of cruelty to animals, possessing a weapon while committing or attempting to commit a felony and possessing a firearm after a felony conviction.

Offered Perry Police: ‘Perry Police Department will not tolerate any forms of animal cruelty’.

Hise has since been taken into custody at Noble County Jail.

Of note, a petition has begun making the rounds demanding Noble County district attorney give out the harshest punishment possible.
