Shannon O’Connor Los Gatos mom who hosted secret teen sex parties beaten up by 5 inmates as she now awaits pre trial hearing on 39 child abuse charges.

A Los Gatos mother awaiting trial for allegedly hosting secret booze filled sex parties involving teen sexual assault was beaten up by five inmates at a California jail.

The five inmates, who are being held at a Santa Clara County jail, allegedly kicked Shannon O’Connor and beat her with their bare hands, according to court documents obtained by KRON.

The five inmates — Erika Amaya, Danielle Chavez, Sophia Vigil, Anita Quiroz and Marjaana Gardea — allegedly attacked O’Connor, 47, inside a dorm room on Oct. 24, Los Gatos Sheriff’s Deputy Frank Thrall wrote in court documents.

O’Connor has been locked up at Elmwood Correctional Facility since she was arrested for throwing booze-filled teen sex parties during an eight-month period in 2020 and 2021 without her husband’s knowledge.

Prosecutors said the ‘Party Mom’ met the then-14- and 15-year-old teens through social media and through her sons, who attend Los Gatos High School. At the time of her arrest, female teens who attended the parties told of the party mom buying vodka and fireball whiskey for the attendees, while proceeding to watch and laugh while the teenagers engaged in sex acts.

‘It’s just so terrible what she did to my daughter and these other children,’

The girls ‘would vomit, be unable to stand and fall unconscious,’ prosecutors said.

During one party, O’Connor allegedly handed a boy a condom and pushed him into a room where an intoxicated 14-year-old girl was lying on the bed.

‘[The girl] was afraid, ran and locked herself in the bathroom,’ prosecutors said.

In another incident, the mother is accused of seeing a boy punching and kicking an intoxicated girl, but doing nothing to intervene.

‘It’s just so terrible what she did to my daughter and these other children,’ said the mother of one of the girls.

Upon taking Bruga into custody, the woman’s two teen sons were put into state care.

O’Connor, according to court documents was attacked by the five inmates for about 16 seconds before deputies broke up the fight. The alleged party mom didn’t fight back, Thrall wrote in court documents. She was treated at the hospital for injuries and returned to Elmwood.

Menace to society

Her alleged attackers are scheduled to appear in court Thursday to face charges.

During a February court hearing where O’Connor sought to make bail, the woman’s ex husband described his ex wife as a ‘menace to society’ and passionately demanded that the judge not let the woman out of jail.

Meanwhile, O’Connor who had been slated to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 7 had to have the hearing adjourned to April 17 according to NBC Bay Area

O’Connor faces 39 criminal charges, including felony child endangerment and sexual battery. O’Connor, who worked as an administrative assistant at Aruba Networks, also faces fraud charges for more than $120,000 in unauthorized charges on a company credit card.

The mother has pleaded not guilty to the child abuse charges.
