Paige Morley, Florida Prep teacher, in Riverview arrested on sex crime charges after having having sexual relationship with student during school events at school grounds.
A Florida teacher faces a series of sex crimes charges after she allegedly engaged in sexual acts with a student.
Paige Marie Morley, 22, a former teacher at Winthrop College Preparatory Academy, in Riverview is alleged to have entered into a romantic relationship with a male student according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The school according to its website, is a charter high school that enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. The website no longer lists Morley as a teacher.
According to an arrest report, Morley met the victim during school events after school hours and engaged in sexual acts.
‘Morley coordinated to meet with the victim after school hours through various school sanctioned events beginning in February of 2023,’ authorities wrote. ‘These events were at the school following normal school hours. During the events, the victim and defendant would engage in sexual acts.’

Based on one of the charges, the boy was somewhere from 12-15 years old.
‘It is unfathomable, how a trusted member of our community could abuse the power and position they were given,’ said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Adding, ‘This woman was entrusted to educate students and be a positive influence. Instead, she is a disgrace. As a father, I empathize with parents who are learning of this, and I appreciate the school’s cooperation during this investigation.’
Not immediately clear is what led to the female educator abusing her position of authority, trust and power and subjugating her male victim.
Morley faces multiple charges including lewd or lascivious battery, lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition, authority figure soliciting or engaging in a romantic relationship with a student, and sexual battery.
Morley is now at the Falkenburg Road Jail on a $145,000 bond.
