Allison Briel: Loudon County High School teacher accused of inappropriate contact with students charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A Virginia high school teacher is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning after allegedly participating in inappropriate communications with students at Loudoun County High School.
Allison Briel’s court appearance comes after the 25 year old female educator was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor WTOP reported.
Briel has worked at Loudoun County High School since August 2017 as a teacher in marketing education, manager of the school store and DECA advisor.
The Leesburg Police Department declined to say how many students may have been involved, the electronic platform on which the infringing communications occurred or when they occurred. While the gender of the victims wasn’t specified, it is believed the teacher aimed her ‘communications’ with young males.
Following her arrest on Tuesday, the educator was held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center pending a $2,500 secured bond.
Not immediately understood is what compelled the female teacher to abuse her position of trust, authority and power to attempt to subjugate the male boys in her charge.
