Michelle Schiffer pleads guilty: A former Cypress Springs High School teacher faces 20 years jail after admitting to having sex with a teen male student along with smoking marijuana with him after a Chick-fill-A hook-up.
Michelle Schiffer a 23 year old Texas teacher faces up to 20 years jail after admitting having sex with a teenage boy after meeting him at a local Chick-fil-A.
Appearing in court, the Cypess, Texas educator pleaded guilty to a charge of having an improper relationship with a student for having sex twice with a fifteen year old male student in 2017.
The Houston Chronicle reported the woman also having smoked cannabis with the teen in her car before one of the encounters.
Schiffer who taught world history, admitted guilt, accepting the sentence that state District Judge Robert Johnson delivered in August during a pre-sentence investigation.
Told the woman’s attorney, Grant Scheiner, ‘Michelle has taken responsibility for her actions and is very remorseful’.
‘At sentencing Michelle plans to personally apologize to the complainant and his family, as well as everyone affected. It’s highly doubtful she will have any trouble with the law again.’
Schiffer could face up to 20 years in prison with the plea deal.
Authorities say Schiffer first met up with the then-15-year-old boy in the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Cypress back in July.
Schiffer then drove the teen to her friend’s apartment in in the 7200 block of Barker Cypress where they had sex, police say she admitted.
The 23-year-old also allegedly admitted to authorities that she smoked marijuana with the boy while inside her car and that she’d had more sexual contact with him.
Schiffer originally met the boy while teaching him at Cypress-Springs High School according to court documents, CW39 reported.
The alleged improper relationship was reported to the principal, Cheryl Henry, by an anonymous student.
Yet to be necessarily understood is what led to the female educator abusing her position of authority, power and trust and sexually preying on her teen male victim, an increasing trend among many female teachers.
