Sophie Johansson Malmo Swedish woman attacked at local Babel nightclub after un-known man proceeds to grope her before smashing a glass bottle on her head after rejecting him.
Disturbing photos have been released showing 19 year old Swedish woman, Sophie Johansson being viciously assaulted with a glass bottle after resisting the groping advances of a man at a nightclub.
Speaking to local press, the teen told of her assailant smashing a bottle over her head at the ‘Babel nightclub’ in Malmo after sexually assaulting the woman as she sought to push her attacker away.
Reports told of Johansson previously never meeting her attacker, with the teen saying matters first came to the fore after she felt the man’s hands running up her bottom and between her legs while on the dance floor.
In a bid to stop the man, Johansson hit the man, who in turn responded by punching her in the face with a closed fist and then hitting her with a glass bottle.
Sophie Johansson: ‘At first I thought it was liquid from the bottle….’
Ensuing images shared on social media showed Johansson drenched in her own blood, her face and body covered following the late night weekend attack.
Upon rebuking the man who had uninvited put his hands on the teen’s bottom and between her legs, Johansson told via Sweden’s Aftonbladet her attacker, whom she described as 5ft’ 10 in his mid 20’s closing his fist and punching her in the face.
In a bid to defuse the situation, Johansson sought to leave the club only to have her assailant hit her with a bottle on the left side of her head, breaking it.
Told the shocked teen, ‘I thought it was liquid from the bottle [on my face], but then my friend said there was blood pouring down. I was in shock’.
Johansson was rushed to hospital where she was treated for several cuts on her head, some which required stitches, and a police report was filed on aggravated assault and causing actual bodily harm.

Babel was closed at the time of the attack, and no-one was injured.
