Alex Harrison a Louisiana father is charged with child cruelty charges after sharing video of him beating his daughter and shaving her hair off.
Disturbing video footage showing 33 year old Louisiana father, Alex Harrison has gone viral after the father shared video of him lashing at his teen daughter and then shaving off the teen’s hair as punishment for downloading Snapchat.
In the beginning of video footage (see below Youtube video from 1.13 point on), Harrison can be heard saying, ‘She wanna be grown, she getting her a** whooped n her hair bald. School is for work not f****** Snapchat. She ain’t got no business with no damn snap anyway. Stay tuned.’
Harrison identified the girl as a 9th grader. Children in that grade are 14 or 15. Throughout the footage, the victim is wearing a ‘Despicable Me’, t-shirt.
Come Friday, Ferriday Police Department declined to say whether or not the teen girl was still in the home or if she had been taken into the care of authorities reported the dailymail.

The video, which was shot by someone else, then cut to Harrison shouting at the girl as she wept into her hands, her hair already shaved off.
In another frame, the father is seen standing over the teen girl as she lay on the edge of a couch at his command.
Harrison is seen whipping the girl with a belt several times, ignoring her screams, while telling her to move her hands and feet which she used to try to block the blows.
The beating lasted a minute-and-a-half and included 50 strikes.
Throughout it, Harrison can be heard shouting: ‘You want to be grown?’
At one point following the assault, the daughter declares she did know ‘how to change her (soiled) tampon’.
But it gets grimmer.
Alex Harrison Louisiana father: ‘This is what it means to be grown,’
After whipping her repeatedly, Harrison leads the teen in to another room where he forces her to sit before proceeding to shave off her hair.
‘This is what it means to be grown,’ extols the father.
As her hair falls to the floor around her, the girl is observed crying into her hands.
Harrison was arrested on Monday after the video was spread online.
Ferriday Police Department said the video was proof of child abuse.
‘After reviewing the video, from my experience in the business, we determined the child was abused,’ Detective Richard Madison told The Natchez Democrat.
Police would not confirm if the girl in the video is the man’s daughter or how they are known to each other. On social media, he has proudly shared photographs of a girl around the same age.
