Scott Koteskey run in with unruly anti Donald Trump supporter leads to the traveler dealing with an unhinged passenger as she berates him over his views.

It seems arguments over leg room are the least of some flier’s concerns. Case in point, traveler Scott Koteskey a self admitted Donald Trump supporter who found himself being hounded by a fellow traveller over his political bent.

The traveler’s misery came Saturday as he boarded a flight from Baltimore to Seattle, where he found himself sitting next to a woman who soon after began to berate the man in what fellow travelers described as an ‘incoherent and unhinged rant’.

At the time the woman had asked Koteskey, ‘Did you come here to cheer or to protest?’

Given the inauguration of the newly elected president occurred in Washington, D.C., Friday, Koteskey knew what the woman was referring to and answered, ‘I came here to celebrate democracy, ma’am.’

With that, Koteskey said, the woman went off on him, saying he ‘put a crazed man in charge of the nuclear codes! You should be ashamed!’

When the traveler replied that ‘we’re all entitled to our opinions here, ma’am,’ (which we are and which is what goes a long way towards what defines a free and democratic society) the woman is alleged to have replied that she was ‘entitled to get drunk and puke in your lap! I’m going to throw up right in your lap! You make me sick! Don’t talk to me! Don’t look at me!’

Which is another back-hand way of saying democracy great as long as we all learn to agree on what I want and believe in.

From there the woman called Koteskey a ‘bigot’ (naturally) before demanding that the man get off the plane.

If only….

At some point Koteskey flipped on his cellphone camera (cause we’ve all learned by now to capture life’s tender moments up close …) where he recorded the ensuing conversation between the woman — who was next to her husband seated in the aisle seat — and flight attendants who had by now come to settle the free for all.

Asked a flight attendant: ‘Is there going to be a problem?’

Replied the woman, ‘I would like for him to change seats with someone else.’

The flight attendant wasn’t having it, (they generally don’t- but can you blame them?), telling the woman ‘you don’t have that right’.

The woman then turned back to Koteskey.

Are you ready for this one kids:

Told the unhinged woman: You pretend you have the moral high ground, but you put that man’s finger on the nuclear button. That man doesn’t believe in climate change.’

Adding: Do you believe in gravity?’

‘Did you know gravity’s just a theory?’

K-r-a-zzz-y.

At that point a flight attendant Koteskey said is a supervisor told the woman the captain ordered her removed from the plane.

But that of course was easier said than done. Cause K-r-a-zzzzz-yee.

‘No,’ the woman replied. ‘I paid for this seat, and I’m sitting in it.’ She added that Koteskey ‘is in my space,’ that her mother-in-law had died and the supervisor should ‘have some respect’ along with ‘there is no way I’m getting off this plane.’

But it was all in vain, as the transportation fun police people were already on their way.

Koteskey later said that other passengers told him the woman also harassed other passengers wearing ‘Trump apparel.’

Here’s what Koteskey said he observed just afterward as noted by theblaze:

‘As the lady was removed I saw that I was surrounded by blacks, Latinos, Asians, and whites, all who had chimed in asking her to be removed and who had defended me. I was touched and moved knowing later that not all these people were Trump supporters. The black man who took the seat next to me was a registered Democrat and he and I had a very good discussion about the beauty of free speech and coming together when people insult and commit acts of violence just for having differing views.’

Koteskey concluded: ‘It truly was a great demonstration of AMERICA and its people coming together and standing up for one another.’

Because living in America one can sometimes become confused with the passion of their beliefs to the point that if someone dares exhibit other points of views they then have the right to mix shit up and act like the tyrant that they believe you to be.
