Jessica Fuchs a 26 year old science teacher at Bainbridge Island High School in Washington state has been arrested following a two and a half month police investigation in which the woman was alleged to have had a sexual affair with one of her 16 year old students.
First placed on administrative leave on February 25 after school authorities began to get wind of news that the science teacher would mysteriously disappear during her classes, the teacher by then had become the subject of intense rumors.
Things would come to a head after the teacher was allegedly caught ‘servicing’ one of 16 year old students by her husband at the family home.
Fuchs purported actions would soon be corroborated by a series of texts, emails, and Snapchats that were ‘sexual in nature’ and ‘detailed sexual activity.’
The woman is also alleged to have sent the teen a video of herself pleasuring herself with the clip titled: ‘ForMyBaby!’
Things would take an interesting turn during investigations when the teacher was found to have reached out to the 16 year old urging him to ‘lie like you have NEVER lied before.’
Reiterated a note the teacher had written to the minor: ‘Well protect me as best you can. Remember NOTHING COMES OUT EVER! About anything, you have been to my house only once. Lie like you have NEVER lied before and try to get your mom to side with you completely and say this was all a misunderstanding! And tell the investigator that!’
When police first interviewed the teen, the Bainbridge Island Review reports, he denied the affair and said the Snapchats ‘were actually from a friend.‘ (He later confessed to the relationship to his mother.)
Desperate to cover her tracks the teacher is alleged to have also gone on a school laptop where she searched: ‘how to permanently delete cellphone records.’
For her efforts Jessica Fuchs now faces a series of charges including, sexual misconduct with a minor, communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and tampering with a witness, and was placed on $200K bail pending a court appearance Monday today.
According to InsideBainBridge.com, Fuchs is herself a former BHS student and a 2007 BHS graduate. According to the report, after graduating from BHS, Fuchs attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she studied chemistry and graduated in 2014.
Interestingly the teen allegedly involved with Fuchs is reportedly no longer enrolled at Bainbridge Island High.
