New Zimbabwe: Phumuzani Ndlovu, 25, of Nyamandlovu, had one hand on his crotch as he appeared before a Bulawayo magistrate on Monday charged with having sex with a minor.
Ndlovu told magistrate Godwin Sengweni his penis had been erect for 12 days since he had sex with the 15-year-old girl on July 13.
Ndlovu believes a spell had been cast on him, and he was desperate to seek treatment outside of jail. The prosecutor did not oppose bail due to “humanitarian” reasons, and the magistrate released him for a later court date.
The man is charged only after he took his unremitting boner to a 15-year-old girl’s school the day after they had allegedly consensual sex. Reportedly, the girl took shelter late at night at Ndlovu’s home, and sometime in the night they slept together.
A teacher called the girl’s grandmother, who reported it to police.
If this man did in fact rape a teenage girl, a never-ending boner might not be a curse but karma. It’s almost poetic, this state of suffering for an accused rapist. The absurdity of the situation warrants medical intervention, sure, but bail?
Defendants could take notice of the efficacy of this strategy: take a lot of Viagra, complain that you’re suffering from a prolonged erection, and you’re out on bail.
