Louisiana woman, Taisha Williams arrested after throwing poodle to its death and trying to run over her boyfriend after bad breakup.
A Louisiana woman has been arrested after allegedly throwing her poodle from her third floor apartment balcony and trying to run over her boyfriend following a ‘bad’ breakup.
Taisha Williams, 35, was arrested on Saturday after getting into an argument with her boyfriend after he tried to end their relationship, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
When the 29-year-old man tried to leave her Gretna area apartment in the 3200 block of Wall Boulevard, Williams reportedly blocked the door.
Officers said she also attempted to hit him with a wine bottle. She then started throwing his belongings out of the window Nola reported.
But it gets grimmer.
Moments later, Williams allegedly picked up her own poodle and threw the dog off the balcony.
According to the sheriff’s office, the dog died from the fall.
Authorities said the man was able to leave the apartment only for Williams to follow him to the parking lot, where she picked up the dog and threw its body in the man’s truck.
She then allegedly tried to run the man over multiple times.
The man wasn’t seriously injured in the ordeal, but he did suffer a few scratches and bruises.
Online records show that Williams was booked into jail on three counts of simple criminal damage, domestic abuse aggravated assault, domestic abuse battery and cruelty to animals.
The woman is being held without bond at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna.
Not immediately understood is what informed the jilted woman having the right to violently attack her dog and her estranged boyfriend.
