Brooke Ann Harris dead: Missing El Dorado Hills, California nurse and mom found dead in a parked vehicle – a week since last been since alive on Valentine’s Day.

A married California nurse last seen alone at a casino on Valentine’s Day has been found dead, officials said.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said Brooke Ann Harris, 49, was discovered unresponsive in a vehicle parked at a local church on Wednesday.

Her cause of death was under investigation, but authorities said there was no immediate evidence to suggest foul play.

Surveillance footage showed Harris unaccompanied around 4:30 p.m. at Red Hawk Casino in Placerville on Feb. 14, the same day she was reported missing. Her daughter last saw her the previous night, officials said.

The mom used her cellphone to call her husband Thursday, then left the device behind at their El Dorado Hills home.

Of note, authorities said there was no video evidence showing Harris ever entering the casino. It remained unclear how Harris came to arrive at the venue and whether she left her cellphone at her residence by design.

Harris was a registered nurse who surrendered her license in 2016 — but had it reinstated the week before she vanished, according to KCRA.

Records showed Harris being fired from a hospice in April 2014 after being found with vodka at work, saying she suffered severe anxiety about seeing her husband, registered nurse, Manny Harris.

She surrendered her license two years later, but in April 2018 she filed a petition to have it reinstated along with six letters of recommendation.

Licensing records revealed Harris suffering from mental health issues, KCRA reported. It was not immediately clear if those issues played any role in her disappearance or death.

Authorities urged anyone with information to call 530-621-6600.
