Ted Cruz sex scandal: How a Marco Rubio’s team engineered a hit job on bitter political foe Ted Cruz after having previously found himself under suspicion for cheating as well.
Mystery question- did a Marco Rubio ally leak the goods on the purported Ted Cruz sex scandal or better still was it just Marco himself despite an irate Cruz blaming bitter nemesis Donald Trump all afternoon for setting him up?
Spin, rinse, spit and repeat.
It seems the ousted presidential hopeful has gotten the last laugh after all after bitter Republican GOP Presidential foe, Ted Cruz found himself steeped in 27 inch manure on Friday after allegations of impropriety and keeping five mistresses on the side behind wife Heidi’s back. Poor Heidi.
The last laugh because until now it was Rubio who’d been under the radar accused of improper hanky panky behavior. The last laugh cause now we’re told that maybe just maybe a Marco Rubio ally leaked the jig to the National Enquirer who of course couldn’t help but run with the smut and all (after conservative rag, Breibart passed up last month, oh well…)
Fortunately for Rubio while the rumors kept coming back every waking moment and with nothing sticking, it would be Cruz who’d inevitably drop the baton along the Presidential race as previously vague accusations against the evangelical zealot suddenly turned into a crusty thick porridge dripping down Ted’s front shirt.
Backstab. Spin, rinse, spit and repeat.

But here’s where Ted Cruz may want to sit up and take notice.
Notes a report via the dailybeast: A half-dozen GOP operatives and media figures tell The Daily Beast that Cruz’s opponents have been pushing charges of adultery for at least six months now—and that allies of former GOP presidential hopeful Marco Rubio were involved in spreading the smears.
Could you imagine? Not something that brothers in arms would ever consider to the other- pushing bitter political foes under a running bumpy bus.
Explains the dailybeast: For months and months, anti-Cruz operatives have pitched a variety of #CruzSexScandal stories to a host of prominent national publications, according to Republican operatives and media figures. The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, Politico, and ABC News—reporters at all those outlets heard some version of the Cruz-is-cheating story. None of them decided to run with rumors.

But who of course decided to run the pr smear campaign was the National Enquirer itself cause like the tabloid they are they have never met a smut story that they didn’t like. Nor the public for that matter.
And what about Donald Trump? Surely now that he has been vindicated as to not having been the one who set him up, perhaps he has some kind encouraging words for foe Ted Cruz.
Not on your life.
Told the billionaire reality starlet: Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz,”
And that of course leaves us with Marco Rubio motive for allegedly pushing Cruz under the bumpy bus.
Reflects salon: Absent in this still-unfolding story is a motive for a Rubio “ally” — whatever that means — to run a smear campaign against Cruz, unless it’s true and the suspended Rubio campaign anointed itself the role of morality police.
In short it’s just another pleasant day in American politics where valor, integrity and good sportsmanship went out by the way of yesterday’s left over appetizers…
