Entering our collective ray of wanton fetish and unbridled wet dreams are French couple, Anastasia Reskoss, 20, and Quentin Dehar, 23, who concede spending the tidy sum of $309 000 to look like their make believe idols, Ken and Barbie.
According to a report via News Dog Media, the couple tell of their obsession with the dolls from a young age, with Anastasia admitting to owning more than 100 Barbie dolls along with the couple already having had more than 15 plastic surgery procedures between them since becoming an item 2013.
The pair also mention the cost of plastic surgery, thankfully has been picked up mainly by their parents who have seen to it that their children remain happy and very deluded.
But it gets better and even more deluded.
The couple who now live in Paris tell of their plans of continuing to have more surgery along with legally (and why not?) changing their names to Ken and Doll.
Told Russian born student Anastasia: ‘We want to spend the rest of our lives together morphing into the dolls we love.’
While Anastasis hankers for more breast augmentation, along with ear reshaping, eye bag removal and veneers, Quentin will make do with a touch more botox and bigger pectoral implants.
Why decline?
Told Anastasia of Quenton whom she knew was love and folly at first sight: ‘When I laid eyes on Quentin for the first time, I knew that I’d found the love of my life.
‘We were at a boat party in Saint Tropez and Quentin walked over to me and said: ‘I’ve found the Barbie to my Ken.’
‘It was so straightforward. We both knew we had met a partner who was going to enable us to become the Ken and Barbie we had always dreamed of being.’
Reflects Ken who grew up with his own cache of Ken dolls: ‘I adored my Ken dolls. I had all the wonderful Ken accessories to go with them too – the toy plane, the house and the convertible car.
‘I loved his billionaire lifestyle.’
Yet it hasn’t always been smooth sailing with Anastasia conceding her parents were at first circumspect with all her plastic surgery procedures before eventually capitulating and realizing that ‘they couldn’t resist treating Anastasia,’ adding her parents ‘would rather have a teenage daughter who takes care of her appearance than one who takes drugs.’
