In a new tell all for October Shape, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting has told of the real life difficulty of maintaining her much admired body which last year sent fans guzzling to the internet when leaked naked pictures of her were flooded.
As part of her ongoing retinue to get herself fit and the perfect body the 29 year old actress is well known for, Cuoco submits to an avalanche of yoga classes in Studio City, California.
Told the The Big Bang Theory star who appears topless on the health fitness mag: ‘I’ve never worked so hard to look good for something in my entire career,’
However, while it took some time to get there, it seems Kaley has finally found a groove with yoga, which she does five times a week, and boasts has ‘transformed her body.’
Adding: ‘I love being toned and having muscle; it’s so sexy and beautiful. And I owe it 100 percent to yoga.’
Some of the actresses fav classes which she’s noted having definite results, include ‘calorie burner’ Hot Power Fusion and Yoga Sculpt, which has her wearing three-pound weights during yoga moves. Why decline?
To boot the actress, all too conscious that the success of an actresses’ ability to remain a collective hero rests so often on her appearances and ability to convey an image of fitness and youth (a dialectic which some of us question) also enjoys sculpt classes, noting that they ‘include 20 seconds of mountain climbing or jumping jacks between the poses, so I get cardio, too.’
That said, whilst exercise plays a big part in the actresses mesmerizing looks, she admits she’s had to change her eating habits, too.
When she first got married to husband Ryan Sweeting – a professional tennis player with whom she tied the knot on New Year’s Eve in 2013, Kaley concedes indulging in a ‘bedtime snack’ from candy they kept in drawers by their bed.
But that shit changed pretty fast when Ryan put some discipline to Kaley’s naughty ways, helping her to swap out of some of her past yummies, including soda, chips, and cereals that have all but disappeared from the couple pantry.
The actress even joked, of her former eating habits: ‘We had boxes of stuff that only a 4-year-old would eat.’
Nevertheless the actress does like to cheat from time time, indulging in the occasional drink and pizza.
Told the actress: ‘I’m just going to be in a bad mood all the time if there’s no light at the end of the tunnel,’
On her progress, Kaley said the change had been slow, but rewarding, with the star losing six pounds in three months.
And while that may not sound like a lot, it is a whole jeans size, which was worth celebrating to Kaley, who admitted: ‘I’m the type of girl who’s always had to buy jeans in three sizes because I never know what my body is going to do from one day to the next.’
Seeing the positive changes in the mirror and getting great feedback from her husband – ‘You look amazing!’ – has the star obsessed with her new routine. ‘I don’t want to go back to what I was doing,’ she gushed.
The October issue of Shape – featuring Kaley – hits newsstands on September 15, and the ninth season of her popular CBS series The Big Bang Theory premieres Monday, September 21 at 8pm.
