Russian paramedic Tatiana Kulikova has been fired after images of her taking selfies with dying patients were revealed.
The woman’s exodus would come after health officials discovered selfies she had posted online with dying patients in the back of an ambulance.
In one image, captioned ‘another moron,’ the paramedic is flipping the bird at a badly injured accident victim.
In another she sticks two fingers up to a heart attack patient, with the image titled ‘How I hate my job.’
Since being summonsed by health officials, the 25 year old woman would admit taking the pictures.
Since revelations of the shocking selfies, family members of those portrayed have expressed outrage, condemning the woman, dumbfounded that a paramedic who was suppose to be caring for their loved ones could exhibit degrees of callousness and contempt.
Offered local health campaigner Artem Golubev: ‘It is clear that while she was taking these photographs she was not looking after her patients.’
Adding: ‘She shows a callous disregard for the welfare of her patients, some of whom died after those pictures were taken.
‘I would not be surprised if their families sue both her and the emergency services.’
A spokesperson for the city’s emergency services has since told: ‘As soon as we were alerted to these images online we suspended the paramedic in question. After an investigation was carried out, the employee was fired.’
Tatiana Kulikova has made no comment following the incident. Can you guess why?
