In the event some of you are looking for a comparable bachelor look no further that Iran’s Amou Haji who has reluctantly come to the notion that he is the world’s most dirtiest man ineligible bachelor.
Which isn’t to say he might be open to the wooing of a tender heart who sees beyond the surface.
In Amou Haji’s case the surface takes some getting used to as the self confessed nomad admits he hasn’t washed in 60 years. Washing tells the 80 year old makes him sick.
When it comes to delicacies, Amou is fond of rotten porcupine which the nomad tells has a succulent unique taste.
As for downtime the ribald 80 year old enjoys having the occasional smoke from a pipe packed with animal faces.
Hailing from a remote region of Iran, the southern province of Fars, Amou tells these days he likes to keep to himself.
Haji’s lifestyle of choice is very unique. The villagers say that he had suffered severe emotional setbacks in his youth, which led him to make extreme choices. Even so, Amou tell observers seems a lot happier than some people who live in large homes with comforts and conveniences. Without a care in the world. He has nothing to lose, nothing to fear.
Sleeping includes nestling in a hole in the ground (imagine the deep intimate conversations to be had). Yet these days he likes to take umbrage in an open brick shack which concerned locals built for him.
When it comes to dining, Amou Haji tells he has an aversion to clean food and drink. He much prefers the rotten meat of dead animals and five liters of water a day from a rusty oil can.
But don’t think Amou doesn’t look after himself – when he wants to look his best he uses car mirrors for grooming, The Tehran Times reported.
And, when he needs a haircut, he simply burns his locks in a fire.
As for clothing, he wears rags and in the winter, a war helmet to ward off the cold. Imagine the envy of your girlfriends as Amou rocks up.
