Renata Shamrakova, the former personal assistant of Nikki Hilton‘s ex, financier Todd Meister, this afternoon was ordered to serve 3 years jail after being unable to make good on her restitution plan of $821 000 after bilking her previous employer.
Unable to meet her restitution plan of paying at least half of the $821K that she had embezzled by today’s date, the former personal assistant had arrived in court in anticipation of sentencing.
Striding into the court room as if not a care in the world, the uber glamorous, 26 Ukrainian model wannabe lookalike maintained an air of sunny breeze, as if she were getting ready to jet off to St Tropez.
Inside the courtroom she swapped out of her fur lined coat, black heeled boots and into a bulky cardigan sweater and runners as she prepared to learn her fate.
Interestingly Shamrakova had bought a paper book copy of Emily Giffin‘s novel ‘Heart of the Matter,’ which she took to reading from time to time.
During sentencing, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Jill Konviser told: ‘I don’t find her to be either remorseful or contrite in any way shape or form.’
Shamrakova’s legal team asked that she serve her sentence at Rikers Island but the judge refused and sent her to the more formidable incarceration quarters upstate.

Since striking a plan to pay back her previous employer, the woman’s parents had tried to sell their upstate New York home so their daughter could avoid jail.
Shamrakova at one point had gone so far as to raise money through a social media campaign, which only netted her abuse and scorn and a paltry $335.
In a statement read out by prosecutors today, Todd Meister said: ‘She lives in a make believe world, completely unable to discern fact from reality, from fantasy. I have never had any relationship outside of work with Renata.’
The statement came after the former personal assistant had arrived in court last month as to advise the court with her progress with restitution.
At the time, Renata Shamrakova went on to tell she was ‘passionately in love’ and that ‘she met her match and ‘couldn’t be happier.’
Taking a swipe at Meister, Shamrakova had told: ‘He’s not in finance. I wouldn’t make that mistake twice. He is a family man and very devoted. He stuck by me through this and I’m so grateful.’
In previous court appearances, Shamrakova had tried to argue that she was in a relationship with Todd Meister, who in turn told the following: ‘The women I date are far more highly educated.’
Shamrakova’s wedding which she had planned with her new love interest, a man she had described as ‘Jewish,’ and ‘with dreamy blue eyes,’ is said to now be on hold until Shamrakova is released from incarceration three years from now. Assuming such a man actually exists in the first place…
