Marina Krim’s nanny Yoselyn Ortega insists she did not kill Leo and Lulu Krim.

In a jailhouse interview with the nydailynews, Martina Krim‘s former nanny, 50 year old Yoselyn Ortega has gone on to argue that she did not kill her two children Lulu and Leo Krim one fateful late afternoon on October the 25th of 2012.

At present the nanny stands charged with first and second degree murder of the Krim family children and if convicted of their murders will likely face life behind bars.

At the time of the murders, Marina Krim told police she came across the bodies of her two children alongside that of Yoselyn Ortega in a pool of blood in the family bathroom. Upon her discovery, Marina Krim went on to tell that Yoselyn Ortega had momentarily also attempted to mortally self inflict herself with a kitchen knife by stabbing herself in the neck.

What followed next came to create fissure among NY’s elite who were suddenly mortified that they too could also now find themselves subjected to such possible attacks at the hands of disgruntled employees who may or may not wish their employers ill will because of the type of lifestyle that they were able to lead.

After waking up from a coma, a financially moribund Yoselyn Ortega proceeded to paint a disparaging picture of her employer Marina Krim, assertions which led to many commentators both attacking Marina Krim and defending her in light of the actions that had occurred. Although many went on to condemn the murders many went on to sympathize with the nanny who many wondered was possibly mistreated at the hands of Marina Krim, an assertion many of Marina Krims supporters have vehemently criticized.

At the time prior to the murders, Ortega, had gone on to tell neighbors and family that she was short of money, revealed she resented her employers because they kept telling her what to do and asked her to do the housework. The implied insinuation throughout was that her employers failed to give the nanny the standard of life that she sought, a contention that led to many on the web bitterly divided.

Underscoring tensions at the Krim family residence were assertions that the Krims had also reportedly worried about Ortega’s job performance in the weeks leading up to the killings and had told her that if she didn’t improve, they might need to replace her.

In the exclusive with the nydailynews Ortega did not say who else could be responsible for murdering the innocent children.

Asked if she loved the slain kids, the outlet went on to say that Ortega replied as follows:

“My lawyer told me not to talk. I’m not supposed to say anything.”

At present Ortega is said to face a competency hearing on June 24th.
