Making dizzy headlines is the tale of NJ mom, Anna Burgese who recently found herself being beaten up by a gang of local Miami prostitutes after being confused as a rival hooker crashing on their turf.

The incident is said to have occurred this past January whilst Anna Burgese was staying at a Miami’s 5 star W hotel outlet with her husband, well to do Philadelphia home builder, Joseph Burgese when she was suddenly approached by the rival women of ten women who feared that she had sought to encroach their coveted territory.

Yes kids, there are a lot of hookers roaming them 5 star hotel alleys looking for a little love and a lot of payday, such are the wonderful effects of Miami’s burgeoning social scene…

Since the attack, Anna Burgese has gone on to sue the W hotel chain, having gone so far as to claim that the ‘hooker friendly outlet’ (who would have thought?) supplied the women responsible with her beating a courtesy getaway vehicle.

Told Burgese’s lawyer when she first approached cops on the night of the attack:

“They told her that the women were hookers who were likely drunk or on drugs and mistakenly thought Anna was a prostitute,’’

Burgese’s lawyer, Lance Rogers has gone on to lament that no one is taking this story seriously enough: “She is the butt of a number of jokes and people are drawing conclusions about her appearance which are not founded. This does nothing to encourage other victims to come forward.”

While there are several surveillance cameras in the hotel’s lobby, Burgese’s lawyer went on tell this past Monday that investigators did not view or obtain copies of the video because the case was classified as a simple assault, a crime that is typically not investigated.

The W, owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, is one of South Beach’s most exclusive and trendiest hotels. Rooms range from $449 to more than $5,000 a night. A fact that most aspiring ladies of the night have not overlooked.

At present, a spokesman for the hotel chain had no comment, citing the pending litigation.
