Fox news use lesbian marriage picture by mistake to affirm traditional heterosexual marriage.

Fox news attempting but failing to re affirm heterosexual marriage.

Fox news would like for you to never take them seriously ever again.

Kids making the media chit chat this weekend is Fox media outlet’s major faux pas when it chose to use the image of two women kissing on their wedding day on the top of NYC’s empire state building whilst reaffirming their commitment to traditional heterosexual marriage. The only catch is the dude on the left is not a dude (as Fox must have insisted) but really Stephanie Figarelle who wed her girlfriend Lela McArthur.

But of course that shit was overlooked by Fox who must have reckoned as long as someone approximates the look of a male then heterosexual hegemony is here to stay. Which is another code word for saying, men make the money and gals play pretty so you can spend it. Just look the part!

The faux pas came as Fox columnist Suzanne Venker went about affirming traditional gender roles and reminding all you girls out there to remember to play second fiddle to all us men.

“Being equal in worth, or value, is not the same as being identical, interchangeable beings. Men and women may be capable of doing many of the same things, but that doesn’t mean they want to. That we don’t have more female CEOs or stay-at-home dads proves this in spades.”

Hmm, let me memorize that for posterity.

Nevertheless Fox has been sufficiently shocked by their faux pas (damn, who told them?) and have changed the image to their story to this very interesting dour one below. Notice the dress that lets you know who the lady is…? Who knows maybe they ought to have highlighted that shit in pink to really make it clear for us who really carries the balls in the family…
