Parents Marina and Kevin Krim who had the horror of having their two children, Leo and Lulu Krim murdered purportedly at the hands of their nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, are it seems adamant about keeping up a brave front and have through postings on Facebook (the Lulu and Leo fund) communicated their zeal to continue living life despite the horrendous tragedy befallen them.
Reveal the Krims in intimate postings, that their remaining child, Nessie who recently just turned 4 has given them the will to continue living and deal with the unthinkable heartbreak of having one’s own children murdered.
Offers the UK’s dailymail: The devastated pair have been trying to rebuild their lives staying with family in California, but are currently driving cross-country back to New York, chronicling their trip and their attempts to cope with their loss on a Facebook page set up to raise charity funds in their children’s memory.
And in a post marking surviving daughter Nessie’s fourth birthday, Mr Krim, an executive at America’s CNBC television station, said that they are drawing strength from their remaining child.
Says Kevin Krim of surviving daughter Nessie: ‘Marina and I couldn’t be more proud of her — she is very smart, beautiful and tough. And she’s grown so much over the past two months. She saves us every day.’
Adds Kevin Krim: ‘We are hopeful that 2013 will be a year of healing, growth and peace.’
To boot the Krim’s have also used their Facebook page to express unity and concern with other parents who also had the misfortune of having the lives of their children taken away at the hands of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooter, Adam Lanza.
We are hurting so much as we think about the violent tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. Our hearts especially go out to all the families who have lost their children in an act of unspeakable violence. As parents who are dealing with loss and grief, we understand how much these children will be missed every minute of every day.

TO NESSIE LOVE LEO
I was walking today around downtown Manhattan Beach and found our little Leo sending his love on a construction site wall. Then, it hit me — Lulu knows how much I love a good hunt and so I’m thinking that she and Leo are taking me (and anyone else who wants to join in) on a “treasure hunt” for clues of their presence.
Nevertheless one has to wonder how much Marina and Kevin Krim will necessarily heal as they will forever be daunted the horrendous loss of their two children and certainly be forced to relive horrid episodes as their former nanny Yoselyn Ortega will eventually take the stand in court to discover the full degree of her complicity in the murder of the Krim family children.
