Celebrations might be in the offing with news that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant. Although the Royal house has yet to officially announce whether Kate Middleton is actually pregnant a close friend of Kate Middleton’s, Jessica Hay has told Australia’s New Idea that Kate Middleton is actually expecting and that an announcement is imminent.
Says Hay: “They’re planning to make an announcement in December. William and Kate are focused on starting a family,”
“It seems very traditional, but of course they’ll be happy with boys or two girls, they don’t want more,” Hay also said. “They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents.”
That said there might be some drawback to the story. Huffpo explains:
In 2010, she claimed Kate told her about her engagement via phone before she told anyone else, and predicted that the wedding would be “sometime [in the] next year.” (Genius!) In 2011, she reportedly left her job at a law firm to concentrate on selling stories about her time spent growing up with the future duchess — whom she says was bullied often in school.
Which of course raises the question can we really believe Kate Middleton would go out of her way in telling Hay if she were actually pregnant given her habit of cashing out gossip on Kate to the media (I know everyone’s got to pay the rent somehow….)
That said it wouldn’t be the first time declarations have been offered that Kate is pregnant but one can’t help thinking the public probably want this pregnancy more than the royals themselves, but then again isn’t that the case when you’ve become public figures whose every word and action is watched by proxy?
Then there was this comment via the web that caught my attention as well:
I think this is one “friend” Kate will quickly cut loose, and she should! How dare this woman step forward to make such a big announcement! Off with her head!
