It is now being reported that 50 year old Yoselyn Ortega the purported murderer of Marina and Kevin Krim‘s two children, Leo and Lulu Krim left in her care has now appointed a lawyer.

Still not physically able to talk as a consequence of her self inflicted injuries said to have occurred after purportedly murdering the children just when Marin Krim entered the family bathroom to find the family nanny slicing her own throat after also having slit her wrists, Ms Ortega has nonetheless been able to communicate to some degree by nodding and blinking.

Still refusing to talk with cops, detectives have been poring over the West 75th apartment where the murders took place looking for clues, evidence and hints at what may have motivated Ms Ortega.

Upon having regained a firmer sense of consciousness Ms Ortega according to the UK’s dailymail is said to have asked about her own family and interestingly made no inquiry as to the well being of the children that were once in her care nor of Marina or Kevin Krim. To date she has not expressed any remorse or attempted to explain what prompted her, raising the idea that the family nanny may have borne resentment against the Krim family.

Ms Ortega’s family for their part have been besides themselves in grief, unable to comprehend the enormity of what has happened and what may have preempted Ms Ortega who her sister, Milaydes expressed loved those children as if her own.

According to the nydailynews no one in the Ortega family has yet told their elderly father on the island about the murders. They fear the news could kill him.

“He’s too delicate,” said Ortega. “He could not handle this.”

The children’s father, Kevin Krim staying in a hotel with his wife Marina and their surviving child Nessie communicated via text on Friday that they ‘we’re obviously heartbroken.’ Adding ‘Thanks for your concern, Nessie is doing fine.’

This whole thing makes me sick and I had tears in my eyes when I looked at the pictures of those beautiful children, but (AND I AM NOT TRYING TO DEFEND THE NANNY, DON’T EVEN GO THERE) I have to wonder if maybe she was being human trafficked by them? Or maybe just started a anti-depressant, because they make people insane and kill people. There may be a dark reason for why she did this. Or maybe not-maybe she is just evil and if so, give her the death penalty

Nobody’s making “declarative statements of fact” on this site, since you say this is a gossip site. This is an opinion, as we’re all entitled to one, and this is mine. Actually you’re the one making assumptions beginning with “you know no one involved” (how do you know I don’t), followed with “but only what you read on gossip sites (don’t assume this is the only site I read), ending with “declarative statements of fact”. Guilty people do hire lawyers, to negotiate the legal system and get the best deal. Also, while I don’t doubt that she’s guilty, everyone is entitled to due process. America doesn’t “burn people to death.”

I am so sick for this family, the loss is unimaginable. G-d bless those sweet little angels Lucia and Leo and G-d grant this family the strength and serenity to move forward. Every mother and person with heart is empathizing with their tremendous pain.

Immediately lawyered up and asked about her own family. She is not insane. She knew what she was doing. She evidently resented her miserable life and envied the Krims’ happy life. She wanted to kill herself but also wanted to take away the joy of the family she obviously envied, so that they may also feel how she feels. She’s just evil.
