Even though Macaulay Culkin’s pr department went out of the way earlier this week to vehemently deny assertions (courtesy of the National Enquirer) that the actor is deep in the throes of a $6000 a month heroin and Oxycontin addiction (which in of itself has to make you wonder why all the ballyhooing in the first place if you have nothing to worry about in the first place?) the National Enquirer has once again come out insist that that bixch Culkin is indeed a heroin junkie and such and he really needs to get it together. Powerful stuff no doubt from a journal which doesn’t necessarily have the most loved allure about it.
“The National Enquirer hopes the cover story on its latest issue…will act as a dramatic and much-needed wake-up call to the 31-year-old actor,” Enquirer editors wrote in a statement posted on the tabloid’s site. “Our advice to Macaulay is to seek professional help to avoid the same tragic fate of other beloved celebrities, including Whitney Houston who died earlier this year.”
Wow! You know shit is turbulent when you throw Whitney Houston‘s name to the mix. That’s either low ball slime shit or just the National Enquirer’s way of telling us that things are fairly nasty at camp Culkin.
Part of me thinks that Culkin’s pr department knows that shit is bad, but that their client has been through the brunt of it and is being quietly put through his paces to get it together. So it just could be yes the actor was doing the heavy stuff and now he’s calmed down and perhaps on his way to calming down. If so wouldn’t it better if Culkin’s pr department acknowledge as much, unless of course the National Enquirer is really making all this stuff up and if it is where’s the lawsuit?
In fact it may be that the National Enquirer does this time have its ducks all lined up (let’s assume its gone through enough costly lawsuits in the past that it double checked with its legal department before going all out on this one) as it has asserted that it has received confirmation of Culkin’s misbehavior courtesy of Elijah Rosello‘s family who had the misfortune of dying this past March. How I can’t be sure, but your guess is, but the family insists the two were doing the hard shit stick for stick.
Then this: “Should Macaulay’s representatives continue to deny The ENQUIRER’s accurate and detailed report,” the statement continues, “we are ready to offer him the opportunity to take a blood test administered by an independent medical lab.”
To date camp pr team for Culkin has chosen not to react.
Addiction is a bixch and often a sympton of psychological conflict, let’s hope that the actor and in fact many like him get through the pain and torture that so often inflicts any one of us….
