Twilight fans should finally get used to the idea that the fantasy of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson was just that, a fantasy, as new reports have surfaced that the actors will now not be made to turn up at future Twilight conventions said Creation Entertainment.
By allowing the actors to not to have to commit to joint further engagements, Creation entertainment, who is behind the Twilight series is realizing, albeit begrudgingly that it might be time to let the team mascots go their own separate ways given all the bad blood that has been aired in the press via fans and the couple as well (assuming of course you believe the daily he said she said which is now beginning to resemble a tireless pr campaign).
“The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we’re out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family,” Creation Entertainment said in a statement to Sugarscape. “Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!”
A source tells Us Weekly, “They were never supposed to attend this convention.”
Either way not having to turn up for future Twilight conventions will have Twilight fans wondering what’s going on and if this is really the end of the franchise, something many of them are loathe to accept as a possibility.
So much for telling the difference between fact and fiction…
