In the ongoing drama called Casey Anthony will always be hated and despised comes today’s revelation that Zenaida Gonzalez the woman who filed a lawsuit against Ms Anthony for defamation of character will have her day in court as the Florida court system today agreed to hear the case against Ms Anthony.
At the heart of the matter is whether by using Ms Gonzalez’s name Ms Anthony irreverably perjured the immigrant’s name leading to her suffering a loss of income and being harassed as it was once thought that she was somehow involved in the abduction of Caylee Anthony, Casey Anthony’s deceased daughter.
The case meant to originally start this month will now take center stage in January in 2013. This off the back of an already busy year for Ms Anthony who for the months of January and February had become a staple of tabloid fodder after ‘leaked video’ tapes of her became apparent.
At this juncture it is still not known who actually released the tapes although speculation still exists as to the real identity of said leaker as well as where Ms Anthony is residing who according to her own testament still fears for her own life.
It is not at present known whether Ms Anthony will choose to testify on her own behalf or whether she will once again plead the fifth like she did during her murder trial.
