A Nigerian woman who had travelled from Paris, France via Air France flight No. 6 claiming to be pregnant has given birth this past Wednesday at JFK‘s international terminal. Not to a baby child but a rather healthy stash of heroin….
Asked if she was pregnant the 42 year old woman wearing a loose fitting garment responded that she was indeed expecting but when subjected to a partial body search officials (she was said to be particularly nervous thus eliciting attention) found she was expecting something else dear to heart.
The woman, Afolake Awoyemi, was then subjected to a x ray search where she was found to have ingested up to 25 pellets of the good shit. Ms Awoyemi was then asked to spend the remainder of the day ‘delivering’ the contraband in the lavatory using a special high-tech commode that sanitises the incriminating evidence, which customs officials refer to as the ‘Drug Loo’. With experienced drug mules able to consume up to 200 pellets it was thought that this may have been the Nigerian woman’s maiden drug mule expedition. It was estimated that Ms Awoyemi’s stash would have retailed for $20 000 on the street. Come Friday the woman was still hospitalized, nevertheless it was said she was expected to regain her health as she facing the magistrate some time this morning.
Authorities also speculate had just one of the pellets had ruptured inside her stomach, Afolake Awoyemi would have most certainly died. Her payoff for the scheme has been estimated at $2000. Certainly not the best risk reward ratio one could hope for given the circumstances.
