Anyone who has paid attention to politicians will immediately understand that most of them are duplicitous and at best hypocritical. Nevertheless we like to give them the stage because they demand it and are convinced that they really want to help steer our country towards a better path. Hmm.
Which brings our next guest to the land of ‘dumbfuckery’ and ‘douchebag category I should just fess up really territory,’ Indiana State Rep. Philip Hinkle. Why? Because the man who’s universally known as being a tough guy on gay rights, (well he did vote for a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage) happened to find himself in the company of some hawt 18 year old (hmm, yowza) man by the name Kameryn. And guess what, our boy Phil even got to (allegedly) show his penis before Kameryn decided Phil’s $80 and overture for a really good time for an additional $50 tip was a bit too much to bear before calling his sister to come and pick him up from the motel where these two hawt beasts were platonically hanging out.
indystar: Phillip Hinkle — responding to a local posting on Craigslist — offered a young man $80 plus tip to spend time with him Saturday night at the JW Marriott hotel.
The emails, sent from Hinkle’s publicly listed personal address, ask the young man for “a couple hours of your time tonight” and offer him cash up front, with a tip of up to $50 or $60 “for a really good time.”
The email exchange is in response to the Craigslist posting in which the young man — who lists his age as 20 in the ad but says he is 18 years old — says, “I need a sugga daddy.”
The young man told The Star that they met, but that he tried to leave after the man told him he was a state lawmaker. He said the lawmaker at first told him he could not leave, grabbed him in the rear, exposed himself to the young man and then later gave him an iPad, BlackBerry cellphone and $100 cash to keep quiet.
Well as you can see Kameryn failed to keep quiet because hush tales of ‘Phil’ being giddy for some male to male action have even to begun to spread in the boy’s locker room at the local YMCA.
Frankly no one should give a damn which way Phil likes to take it or give his love tool, but what we do as a society have to wonder about is why do politicians who in private accede to the lifestyles that they harangue beseech such lifestyles and aspirations in public?
Is it a case of self loathing, false modesty, morality (whatever that word means anymore) or simply a case of pandering to your elective despite your own true nature. But maybe that’s the lesson here, that public rhetoric is so darn loud and compelling that we often find ourselves taking on positions that don’t really complement our true natures. But then again maybe Phil thinks in private it’s okay to be gay but that gay men shouldn’t be allowed to marry for whatever reason.
The moral of the lesson? Never judge a book by its cover, especially when that cover is a classified sections for hawt love on craigslist, cause you never really know who’s reading those ads and of course responding to them.
Hmm, if only Kameryn stuck around for that $80 tip…
