Tuesday night saw assorted guests and a couple of supermodels (thank you very much) attend Fortune Society’s First Annual Spring Soiree at Jimmy at the James Hotel.
As composed of the next generation of young philanthropists, the entity gathered in recognition of efforts made by principals Louise Tabbiner and Luke Weil in giving those individuals who have been incarcerated a second chance upon serving their time as they re enter society.
Himself once convicted and serving a 2 and half to 5 year sentence in the early 90’s Mr Weil understood only too well the plight of those individuals who were released back into society trying to stay the course.
You may not know this, but there are a lot of attitude blocks and hindrances that prevent a lot of people from achieving a second chance- which explains the foundation’s cause to provide counseling and financial subsidies so as to enable many a individual the proximity to reenter society and fend for them selves.
