In the continued saga of parents who should never have children comes the tale of Kathlyn Anthony who locked her adopted son in a dog crate at night for a period of two weeks. As usual the dailymail.co.uk attempts to explain:
The 54-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after an investigation. Police say the boy’s sister told school officials that she was tired because she kept getting up at night to let her brother out of his ‘sleep locker.’
And how big was the ‘sleep locker?’
Police said the crate measured 36 inches by 22 inches, and 30 inches high.
Which is to say if I attempted to put my foot in the ‘sleep locker’ I just might manage.
And what did Anthony have to say about all this?
‘Sought out some other remedies, different agencies and different ways of correcting the issue – and it didn’t work.
And of course when all else fails, one is indeed obliged to bring out the ‘sleep locker’ ’cause that is bound to remedy the little situation with the soiled bed.
Police refused to disclose the boy’s age or what school he attended to protect his identity.
Anthony has allegedly told police she had been seeking outside help for the boy’s behaviour.
One day when Anthony finally makes her way to prison, she will smell a strange smell coming from the seat of her pants and for a moment wonder if she too should be snuggling in her very own ‘sleep locker.’
