My desire to capture that fashion world led me to pursue a freelance career. I began photographing fashion galas backed by an international stock agent who willingly represented my work. In 1979, I found a book agent who effortlessly sold my first book “Birds of Paradise: An Intimate View of the NY Fashion World” to Delta Books (1980).
