Project Paz is dedicated to indirectly fighting the violence in Ciudad Juárez by raising consciousness and supporting established groups that promote the development and well being of Ciudad Juárez. Founded by a group of young professionals from the Cuidad Juárez / El Paso area who currently reside in New York City, the group is committed not only to raising funds, but also to raising awareness for peace in their hometown and communicating to the younger generation of Cuidad Juárez that there is a community that cares and is committed to helping.
For those who turned out it was a splendid evening and it was so nice to see so many familiar faces. Let’s hope the good folk at Project Paz continue this wonderful crusade, and for those of you who are able to help- you should click here– this is one cause that definitely needs our support and attention.
