Hem lines—something everyone is watching this season—were up and down just like the stock market (but were for the most part above the knee).
A final point of interest at this show was surely the soundtrack. At one point in the show a familiar song was blaring by Animal Collective called “Leaf House” off of their album Sung Tongs. This appeared to be an almost sonic manifestation of what Tam was aiming for with its tribal-like drumming and easy, folky melody. Certainly the perfect soundtrack for superbly dressed world traveler trekking down the New Silk Road.
