The lack of risk taking means Perry Ellis will be caught up in the shuffle of similar looking brands such as Ralph Lauren, but this mainstay sticks to its guns and has no apparent interest in pushing any envelopes, and there’s always a place for the warhorse that knows what it is.
The show, which was broadcast live for the second time in the history of Perry Ellis, paid special tribute to their charity “Project Beach”, which seeks to raise funds and awareness for the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) and its Gulf Restoration work. The charity was launched in July in the wake of BP. After all, it’s another year until summer and we’ll need somewhere to go to wear our suave Perry Ellis summer clothes.
