The top 5 fashion faux pas of 2010. Who’s committing them and why we believe in public floggings.

Judge Ruben Franco said that although Julio Martinez may have offended the fashion police with his low-hanging and underwear-exposing pants, his manner of dress didn’t deserve a ticket from a cop.

“While most of us may consider it distasteful, and indeed foolish, to wear one’s pants so low as to expose the underwear . . . people can dress as they please, wear anything, so long as they do not offend public order and decency,” the judge wrote.

Which is in a way a good thing, because who really out there can judge what’s actually foolish and contemptuous? People still have the right if they so desire to dress and behave like jack asses even if it annoys the rest of us. That you see is the beauty of liberty.

That said, since this article is not about liberty but fashion faux pas and on the spot public floggings we must continue our task of bringing repeated offenders to light and instant punishment.

Is this you? Let's hope not...

Which brings faux pas number 4– the frat boy meets Ali G look.

Recently actors Kevin James, Adam Sandler turned up to their film premier ‘Grown Ups,’ looking like two overgrown frat teenagers with the taste for the unsavory. All that was missing was the gun slingers and the beer coasters.

If the photo below can’t sum it up – we will- obtuse, unintelligent, mocking, lazy, belligerent, vulgar and contemptuous of a modicum of refinement that no semi intelligent audience should ever be exposed to.

Isn’t it any wonder that so many kids end up growing like these two and debasing our streets with “Fatty Freako and the Frat bunch.” Don’t believe us, have a good look at what’s happening on the streets of Connecticut.

Instant punishment- 50 on the spot lashes. That after the shiny tracksuit is thrown off and shredded by police dogs. Really kids, even Ali G meant this as a joke, not something that you should all take seriously and save your pocket money for.
