It’s confirmed Mississippi is not a good place to be a lesbian.

Remember the episode with graduating teen lesbian Constance McMillen out of Mississipi who only wanted to celebrate her prom night wearing a tux and with her girlfriend by her side? Well they’re back at it again in Miss today with a new case of a graduating lesbian student who’s decided to sue her school for not allowing her to be pictured on her prom night in her tuxedo’s finest. Which makes us wonder, is it time to move out of Miss. if you happen to be a lesbian?

AZ Central
:
JACKSON, Miss. – Another teenage lesbian is suing a Mississippi school district, this time over a policy banning females from wearing tuxedos in yearbook portraits.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday for Ceara Sturgis, contending the Copiah schools discriminated against her on the basis of sex and gender stereotypes. Her photo and name was left out of the senior section of the yearbook.

The district’s superintendent didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.

Lesbians are not always welcomed at your school prom.

Are there conspiracies against lesbians in Mississippi?
