Remember the episode with graduating teen lesbian Constance McMillen out of Mississipi who only wanted to celebrate her prom night wearing a tux and with her girlfriend by her side? Well they’re back at it again in Miss today with a new case of a graduating lesbian student who’s decided to sue her school for not allowing her to be pictured on her prom night in her tuxedo’s finest. Which makes us wonder, is it time to move out of Miss. if you happen to be a lesbian?
The American Civil Liberties Union filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday for Ceara Sturgis, contending the Copiah schools discriminated against her on the basis of sex and gender stereotypes. Her photo and name was left out of the senior section of the yearbook.
The district’s superintendent didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
