For 13 million euros, you can party like the Stones. The former home of Stone’s guitarist Ronnie Wood has been put up for sale by his jilted ex-wife, who he walked out on two in 2008 for a Russian cocktail waitress. The mansion, called Holmwood House, which Ronnie and his wife Jo bought in 1997 for 2 million euros, has hosted its fair share of wild parties, which Jo called “Woodfests,” lavish events that inevitably ended up with cops at their front door. Jo had originally planned on keeping the property after the split from her hard-rocking husband, but said to the Daily Mail UK, that it’s just too big for her.
Daily Mail UK: The Gothic-style property has more than two acres of land and lies on the edge of Richmond Park in South-West London. The mansion has seven en-suite bedrooms over three floors. There is a separate cottage, lodge, garage building and swimming pool house.
The home, which is already in negotiations with a potential buyer, is exactly what you would expect a rock star to be living in. With nineteen bathrooms, pop culture memorabilia covering the walls, an indoor pool accompanied by a whirlpool, sauna, and steam room, and of course, British antiques paying tribute to Mother England, the house is fit for any king or queen seeking to live a rock’n’roll lifestyle.
Who says you can’t always get what you want?
