TMZ today reported that Lilo’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley today quit. Which has us here at the office wondering did Holley really quit or was she booted out by an irate Lilo who couldn’t believe in her opinion the ‘harsh’ sentence she received. What’s even more interesting is Lilo’s new choice for lawyer- Tiffany Feder-Cohen, who was just admitted to the bar in November.
As of now no new developments have come to late, but one has to wonder what Lilo expects to achieve by shuffling her lawyers around and why she just didn’t behave herself in the first place.
From Holley’s point of view if she did resign it certainly wasn’t because she was offended by the sentence, but rather by her client herself and her reckless behavior. You would think the sentence would tone Lilo down but if anything the circus show has now morphed into an overdrive of Lilo’s new token motto ‘bitch his is my show and you are ruining it- blah blah blah and so much for you thinking I’m sorry.”
As for the American public which has a history for enjoying courtroom dramas this particular drama has all the right texture to it, scandal in and out of the courtroom, a celebrity victim (so she likes to believe) dramatic live breakdowns, a hysterical press, a he said, she said dossier the size of Lilo’s white bedroom behavior and now the removed lawyer who may or may have not been fired.
Aren’t you glad you’re getting this much drama on the TV…?
