The Obama administration is currently spinning excuses like it’s their job. Well, it sort of is. On the topic of the Democrat defeat for mayor of New York in yesterday’s election, a member of the Obama puked out these excuses (as recorded in the New York Daily News):
“It was a sleeper race. No one thought it was going to be a close race, especially Bloomberg,”
“[Bloomberg’s] an ally, so I’m not sure we would have spent the political capital,”
“There is an argument to be made that a lot of Bloomberg’s voters stayed home because they didn’t think it was close,”
Keep spinning, White House Staff, keep spinning. Like a grade-schooler trying to explain to his mom why he shaved off his brother’s eyebrows. We appreciate that no one likes to admit mistakes, but why can’t politicians be politicians AND adults at the same time? Adults that will own up to responsibilities and not try shirk the blame onto someone else.
Old Obama, always there to help a friend in need. A true gentleman.
