“Indeed,” I thought as “it’s all about perceptions.”

“Now I see why you’re an ambassador.”
Excusing myself I tried to behave as appropriately as possible (unfortunately it’s true us writers tend to be unruly and somewhat unsettled) and found myself momentarily gazing at the sweeping sunset, the Manhattan vista, drink in hand, photographer and chinks all round in the background and thinking to myself that I had indeed had come across quite a wonderful party.
To you Jamie and Simon thanks a dozen for letting us all be silly and grand all at the same time…
